 
If you've ever felt that the electronic "chitter chatter" and general distractions of modern life have been wearing you down and getting in the way of spending quality time with your loved ones then a spell in an 18 foot Yurt in beautiful Ruby Country may be just what you need!
The Yurt originates from Mongolia, and is traditionally lived in by nomadic tribes. They are beautifully hand-crafted from sustainable timber, with strong canvas walls created in a dome shape with substantial standing room inside.
There are two windows and a wooden door which can be locked for peace of mind.
The Yurt is situated on hard standing ground and the groundsheet is covered with carpets and rugs to provide a cosy feel to your accommodation.
There is a circular clear portal in the centre called a 'Tono' to ensure plenty of light by day and, on a clear night, a wonderful view to the galaxy of stars above. Indeed, being located in sparsely populated Ruby Country means that we have an enhanced view of the night sky due to very low light pollution levels.
The Yurt can accommodate up to 4 people and has 2 double futons and 1 double sofa bed, used as seating by day and beds by night. Also supplied are 3 double duvets and freshly laundered covers as well as 3 base sheets and 3 throws. (NB: Pillows and pillow covers are not provided).
Also within the Yurt is a table and 4 chairs, a wood burner (used for heating and boiling a kettle) and a 2-ring & grill camping gas cooker. There is also a small worktop and storage unit.
Lighting is provided by means of rechargeable wind-up lanterns and candles.
To pass away those lazy, carefree days a selection of books and games are provided.
